Margaritos right uppercut can smash a neutron star into a black hole. He is the greatest fighter who ever lived.

i dont think Margarito is overrated, he is what he is, a super tough guy that as of now seems unknockoutable and that throws 800 - 1000 punches in 12 rounds, rentlessy stalking his opponents and coming from all angles, quite impredictably and always with big, even if a tad slow, power punches.

Very difficult to beat, you can if you can keep him at bay with a very solid jab, great foot movement, great stamina, avoid the ropes, have a great defense and can put toghether flashy strong combination without losing your composure getting out of the way quick with lateral movement before he lands back.

Keeping it real, he hasn't that much experience in fighting the best from the US or UK, styles make fights and fighters from the US don't go head on and toe to toe like Puerto Ricans and Mexicans are known to do. We know he fought the american Paul Williams who defeated him by a UD.

                Is he overrated?

he's a good champion but he isn't the best at WW until he fights and defeats Paul Williams.

I don't know about Mayweather man. Shane and Oscar for sure though.

Biggest name on Mayweather's 147 resume is Hatton and he's a 140 fighter.

Mayweather: Sharmba Mitchell, Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir, Ricky Hatton(140).

                    Margarito: Win/Lose

Sergio Martinez, Frankie Randall, Daniel Santos(don't know if you want to count that NC), Antonio Diaz, Danny Perez, Andrew Lewis, Sebastian Lujan, Kermit Cintron, Joshua Clottey, PW, Cotto

Not to sound biased but I would pick Margs over Mayweather. Let's not forget, Margarito isn't finished.
