Roy got the piss beat out of him in the later rounds, probably a little bit to do with his bloody eye. But as one sided as it got in the later rounds, you can just see roy doesn't got it anymore. I mean come on, roy had a close win over hanshaw...
In all honesty though, would it be any different than if Floyd had rematched Oscar or Hatton? Its all about the money now. If it wasn't he'd be chewing at the bit for a piece of Dawson.
and mayweather has nothing to do with this thread..its about joe and roy
um???yes oscar was a competitive fight, hatton is still prime..
Oscar was a money fight and Hatton was never competitive the first time. Calzaghe should be rematching Bernard or fighting Dawson if he's about sealing a legacy, just as Floyd should have been taking on the best at 147. Instead......its all about who brings the most amount of money to the table.

Hell, yeah it would be different. Mayweather won a tough fight against Oscar. And Calzaghe beat the piss out of Roy. That is a huge difference. Why would anyone give a rematch to someone they kind of easily beat?
