He isn't hated because of "his greatness", he is hated because of his personality and also because he avoided so many people in his division, then brainwashed a load of people into thinking he's the king of boxing. That's the truth.

It gets on my nerves when I see people writing "everyone's jealous of Floyd because of his money" -- is this a ****ing joke or what? Who gives a **** how much money he has? Why does it make a difference to anyone else's life? I guess we're all jealous of Bill Gates, too? People saying this need to pull themselves together, get a grip, and shut the **** up.

People hate Floyd because of his personality. Granted, he is skilled but he is a mouthy little **** and not all of us like having the wool pulled over our eyes.

To me, right now Hopkins is filling that void as far as personality & watching a pure boxer with great skills... but yea I do miss Floyd's interviews on boxing sites and his antics on how he'd defeat his opponents...he sure talked the talk n I believed him... he's that fuccin' good.. I wouldn't say boxing isn't the same without him though...I can understand if ur just a fan of his, then yea its not the same... I figure let the 147 division clear up then he'll come back and fight the division's undisputed champ.. I predict he comes back december of 09
