You have a point, but that was only Haye's 11th fight. Thompson is tougher than Haye expected, but I think he learned from his errors that night.

No, he's hoping he gets beaten.

i dont think vitali will be around for long enough for haye to have 2 fights. say haye fights in march, then again in july, that means he'll fight vitali in what, october/november? how many more fights does vitali have in him before his body falls apart again? if he really wanted haye he'd do it sooner rather than later

Also, the Lewis fight is the ONLY One, in which HE was stopped by th ref/dr. When he "lost" to Byrd,it was he himself who decided he had to stop.

He feels that he has never really been beaten and, acts indeed as an undefeated fighter does. Yes, his amor propre was deeply wounded by the Lewis outcome, especially since he was beating Lewis up and likely would have finished him in the next round.

And it was the Heavyweighht World Title, for which he'd been the fruitless challenger for about a year.

                .

please! lets not get into it (again) but he was not winning that fight in any way shape or form. he had a couple of good rounds, thats it. and he had a gaping hole in his head caused by a punch, he lost.

You're talking nonsense, as many others do. Klitschko suffers no more injuries than most other fighters. Golota just had to quit in the first-or second- rd because of torn arm tendons. This happens every so-and-so day.

Klitschko got a broken Anterior Cruciate Ligament and other torn parts, from a leg entanglement and fall. So what thev hell are you mouthing about. He was told he'd need at LEAST 6 months rest, maybe a year. Many drs said he'd never be able to fight again with such an injury.

All the so called "Rahman fight" postponments were because if misdiagnosis of a singke event, a spiny bone spur pressing on his sciatic nerve part of which went to his thigh, leading the drs to believe he'd torn a thigh muscle....which he hadn't.

This happens to millions. It happened to me..twice. A back op fixes it. Klitschko had that, and was ready to fight Rahman, but he-and Don King_ decided to fight Barrett instead. If you were awake for that, it woudn't have beern for long, you'd have beern put to sleep quickly.

It was in training months after the Barrett fight that he broke his knee ligaments, which caused his retirement..

It was the first Klitschko fight, which activates his desire to remain retired. The second, unrealised, Klitschko fight may be his nightmare.

He feels Haye has the necessary tools become successful heavyweight, but still needs at least two more fights to prepare himself for a world title bout. Haye would like to fight Vitali or his younger brother Wladimir, who holds the IBF/WBO titles. [details]
2 more tune up fights is not unreasonable.
