David Haye gets caught way too often.

That hands down style will be the undoing of him. His head movement is average but he drops his hands like he's James Toney.

Monte couldn't seem to hurt him (apart from he hit him on the ground), but he caught him enough times. Klitschko would do a lot more damage than technically flawed Barret.

And another thing that alarmed me, Haye does not throw a lot of punches which has not really mattered thus far as he as only gone the distance once. Will he knock Klitschko out? Doubtful. Will he land more punches and take a decision? Again, doubtful.

Haye landed enough to win every round, and gets caught often because he is an aggressive fighter but thats why people like him.

Haye should held his left hand higher, his jab is much better if he does.

I agree, he makes me nervous the way he holds his hand by his waist, He needs to sort his defense out and not just look for that 1 big punch

Most people knew that low left hand will lead to trouble in the heavyweight division, it got him in trouble at cruiserweight, it'll definitely get him in trouble at heavyweight sooner or later. He throws enough punches though, heavyweights aren't exactly known for their workrate.

What's Klitschko's average punch rate compared to Haye's?

in this day and age we OVER analyze
                thanks to the internet....
but david haye gets kaught way too often...ok
what heavyweight is quick enuff to katch him enuff and knock him out
                without getting knocked out themselves...
haye is a gifted fighter and reminds me a lot like a heavy weight roy jones
the way he puts the right hand out in front and keeps the left low...
bottom line he relies on his athleticsm as his defense and he will continue
to be successful with it until he loses a step as he gets older...
                hopefully we wont witness that
but that being said...every great fighter has lost
so if haye loses at heavy i hope people dont flood
with the overrated and i knew this would happen chants
bottom line, everbody loses....he may get kaught
he may lose, its what he does to rectify the situation
                that will verify his greatness

Lol... U know damn well that WILL happen, and you can bet who that will be coming from.

Haye looked good against Barret. Hopefully his next fight will be against tougher competition. Let's see what happens.

His way to open when he throws his bombs i thought that myself.
Someone like Vlad will capitalize on that and VK would most likely bomb him
                    out pretty quick....

Hard to say where im at with Haye yet
