well you know what they say if it ain't broke don't fix it. but yeah taking pride in drinking habits is kinda lame to say the least .. i mean he drinks alcohol and is very public about it .. so ****ing what, lots of people drink alcohol. "I can drink xxx more then you can, wow really cool."

Hatton = the ultimate bad ass.

if you didn't already know Hatton did get a "Lion King" tattooed on his upper arm (if you saw the video) which basically means he's King and can pretty much do what he wants.

edgarg, PBF is definitely one of the greatest fighters of his generation without question. 3 years on the top of p4p list and 5 world titles doesn't happen by accident. the guy's defensive abilities and boxing brain is immeasurable.

as for ricky hatton, he's English. allow him

I don't see why it's such a big issue drinking outside of training?
Pubs and beer play a big part in British culture, and alcohol is introduced at a very young age. Believe it or not some beers are actually not that bad for you.

        Hatton drinks Guinness and Beer/Lager.

A few generations ago, the nutritional benefits of beer were well known. Beer was safer to drink than water and was thought of more as a liquid bread and hence was a staple in the family's diet. Beer isn't just made from cereal, its made from malted cereal.

Malting is a very simple process; seeds are soaked in water and allowed to sprout. This is an ancient method for increasing the nutritional content of seeds and quite likely originates in prehistoric times. Sprouting may have happened initially by accident, but our canny ancestors knew a good thing when they came across it!

As the seedling begins to germinate it actually makes vitamins.

I never understood why some people crave beer and other liquors when they want to have fun. I have had my experience with it and it was short. I never did like drinking, much less excessively. Maybe I have been gifted with a natural rejection for potentially bad stuff. I don't smoke either, and never really cared too. Only did it socially.

Even though drinking is part of our culture it shouldnt part of a professional boxer culture, Your body is your temple when you're a boxer and you have to treat it as such whether you have a fight coming up or not.

                    Agree.

Tyson was a pot-head, party freak, sex maniac, etc. and look where he wound up.

Hatton and Tyson are alike is some way except for the beaver hunting:

Roach also claimed exhaustion played a factor. The trainer cited two weight differentials -- the 35 pounds Tyson lost from the start of training and the 32 pounds that separated the combatants -- in the steady demise from rapid-firing, head-moving favorite to slow-footed, disinterested loser

Tyson smelled stronger than ****oli's van when he showed up for the postfight news conference of Vitali Klitschko's victory over Kirk Johnson less than eight months ago. Others who were around Tyson said he was still smoking like a fiend in recent weeks.

Tyson joked that dope affected his performance two years ago when Lennox Lewis systematically broke him down. Speculation abounded that Tyson was on antidepressant medication before the lucrative bout so he aberrant behavior wouldn't spoil it.

"I don't know what the hell happened," Tyson told reporters. "I may have smoked too much weed, but I wasn't taking any drugs or anything."

Another time he was asked about the Lewis fight, Tyson replied: "Man, I don't know what I was on. Maybe I just smoked too much weed. There's no doubt I've been a monster."

he can't improve his craft without french wines in his veins.

hope he will not ballooned to 170 lbs in the weigh-in.
Maybe Hatton sees himself as Poe but he isn't on the same block as far as talent as Poe.
