No BIG names for Mayweather to fight

Yes I know the guy is "retired", but when you look at the lack of SUPER-stars in his weight range I dont blame him for not coming back.

Cotto: Had the best chance of luring Money-May out of retirement if he would have maintained his undefeated record and managed a win over Margarito. Cotto didnt pull through so we can X him off the list

Margarito: Hes a good fighter but he has absolutely no star power whatsoever. And its kind of hard to sell a non-star with 5 losses to the casual fan. Chances are slim to none.

Pac-Man: Oscar-Pacman is a joke and Mayweather-Pacman would be an even bigger joke. It will never happen.

Kelly Pavlik: I dont see Kelly getting down to 154 or Mayweather moving beyond 154. Not Likely at all.

Hatton & Oscar: Hes already beaten them, no one wants to see another snooze-fest with Oscar or a lopsided W over hatton.

i think cotto a big enough name, margs williams are all pretty big names and big enough i think for a megafight . . . pacman's a huge name especially if he beats dlh (which is unlikely). and if hatton beats paulie, a rematch with pbf would be a huge fight as well imo.

then theres smaller names but possibly good fights with berto and clottey.

then even though it wasnt a good first fight if pbf was to come outta retirement and fight dlh i still think it has the potential to be huge just cause name recognition and no matter what will do big ppv numbers.

Cotto V Mayweather or Margarito V Mayweather would do about 600k. No its not the 800k that Hatton did with him but 600k is well worth his money.

It would do more then that, Cotto vs Margarito did 475k..

Mayweather is the biggest star in boxing outside of Delahoya.

                dont think so,

                Oscar
                Hatton
                Mayweather

is the way I see it. Oscar made Mayweather, Mayweather made Hatton, but because Hatton already a large fan base, the Mayweather fight possibly increased it so when speaking in terms of Global start power, I would go with Hatton, then Mayweather.

I think Cotto is the only guy that could handle Floyd, and if the public saw a card for Mayweather vs Cotto it would do in the area of a million buys.
