As for Margarito and Cotto, you are right: it would have been nice if he fought them instead of cashing in, like it would have been nice if Leonard fought Nunn, McCallum, Kalambay, Benn instead of cashing in. It would have been nice if Jones fought DM, if Calzaghe fought any elite not in retirement home.
Umm....last year I laid out persuasive evidence that Floyd did indeed dodge Tszu. I won't go back into it, for that debate was WELL DEBATED (for at least a month).

But, I'd be willing to give Floyd an early pass on Tszu had he fought Margarito or Cotto (just one would do). He didn't, and won't, do it.

Look at the poll. It speaks for itself. His credibility is damaged, but his bank account is huge. Not necessarily a bad trade off if you think about it.

Mayweather didnt duck Tsyzu....Tsyzu had to take 2 fights after coming back from his 2 years off due to injury, Tsyzu fought mitchell like he was suppose to and the winner was suppose to fight Hatton which happened.

No, last year you provided evidence that there was a more or less 10 seconds period in which the fight could be made, because neither Zoo or PBF were signed to fight anyone.

How is that Mayweather ducking Zoo?

I look at the poll, and I am not surprised. I was around when people hated on Pea, and when people were hating on RJ. It will be different 5 years from now.

A bit longer than 10 seconds. And, Tszyu called him out. Don't forget that part. Let's be objective. Mayweather's track record in this respect is clear. But, like I said....I'd be willing to give Floyd a pass for an early dodge of Tszyu. At that time, Tszyu was a monster. But repeating it with Margarito and Cotto was a huge disappointment.

Zoo did NOT call out PBF, more than PBF called out Zoo. They said "yeah sure great fighter, great fight."

And yes of course it was a bit longer than 10 seconds...

Calzaghe had to wait till they where much older to beat them lolz
this part is true Calzaghe's workrate would not have been a major factor if he had fought Jones,Hopkins in their primes

but its a major factor when your oponents are 40 years old

Let's don't do this. I won't be cajoled into cutting and pasting the articles...again... just to prove a controversial point. We can agree that not fighting Margarito or Cotto was a disappointing move by Mayweather. Now that we can agree to. And it didn't help his claim as being the best of all time.
