well he just beat a HW gatekeeper so by definition the win proved he belongs in the top ten(ish) of the hw division.
Im A Huge Haye Fan But Last Night Proved Nothing At All

Well he had Barrett scrambling with punches that didn't even land flush so his power and speed is clearly going to be a big asset. His balance seemed poor, often lunging in with hooks that a more responsive fighter would lap up.Comment

He beat a legitimate solid heavyweight who has mixed in good company.
It proves he is too good for guys of that level, despite his strength and defensive and chin frailties.
Imagine what Haye vs Peter would look like? Massacre.
Thinking about it, I don't think Haye has much chance against either Klitschko. Everything is against him in terms of physical and mental attributes. They're smart men. They will just hang off him for fours rounds tire him out, and pick him off there after.Comment

Lets be honest barret is a ****in can.a can of tomatos and haye knew it thats why he chose him to test the waters. haye is my nucka but with his talent, top physical conditioning and power he shouldve got barret out in the 1st rd anything outside the 2nd was unacceptable.he knocked him down multiple times but didnt finish him and let the fight linger on for what seemed like years.it was funny watching him crush a overmatched can but haye needs 3-4 more fights against names b4 i take him serious.Comment

This is ridiculous. Haye did what he had to do, looked fast and powerful, a R1 KO is unrealistic.Comment

i saw three first round kos at a fight i went to on friday wtf are u talkin bout lol. not to mentio all real fighter for the most parts have a one round ko under their belt especially in the hw divisionComment

to me it proved he has more to prove in hw . . . jumping in to the super fight with on of the klits makes me think he doen t care if he wins or looses, he just wants the big pay check. if he fights a couple more top guys gets really ready to fight on of the klits then i give him a better chance. as of right now, i dont see him getting by either of them. he has a chance cause of his quickness and power, but i truly think he gets beaten by both.Comment
