That fight was being negotiated but the talks fell through. Winky, who is one of my favorite fighters, has pretty much ****canned his career demanding the lionshare of the purse of his fights.

I don't get why fighters like Williams claim and alphabet title then go on to fight once every 6 months, claiming they are ducked or whatever. Build a career out of fighting every 3 months until you are p4p then the real money will undoubtedly flow as you'll be the guy everyone wants to beat.

I mean williams has got a needed rubber against quintana to get on and then he can see who is available to fight.

Best option for Paul is to move up and forget about the WW division.

Thats second best option, i hate Paul Williams but i think he should stay at welter so he can fight Margarito, best option for williams is too leave Goosen Tutor promotionsand sign with Golden Boy or Top Rank(Same With Arreola), if they do that, Golden Boy Or Top Rank could find a fight for them 2 instead of Goosen, Paul and Chris crying that nobody wants to fight them, If Williams moves up, hed make less money and they would still miss many fights based on being with a promoter with basically 2 fighters

i agree williams needs to stay at 147 since what he's looking for is a payday and no one can give him a payday at 154 like margarito can at 147. He does need to leave goosen, goosen is hurting williams career more than hurting it. When someone can't get you a fight that's not the fighters fault it's the promoters.

On the other hand, Williams has been the star of each of his cards and the ONLY star on his card. Margarito couldnt fill a high school cafeteria on his let alone a venue by himself.

And at the end of the day, Williams beat Margarito. Margarito passed on a $4million dollar career high payday to AVOID a fighter who beat him. Do you have anything besides "Williams slapped his way to victory" to say about that?

i agree! There's a reason why he fights at 147 and a reason why he fights a kolle type fighter at a higher weight class. But to goosen and williams no one at 160 wanted to fight him not even pavlik so they were forced to fight kolle.
