There are articles of Goosen being directly quoted offering him a guaranteed 4 million for the fight. Are you calling Goosen a liar???

If that's what he offers then that's what it is unless Margarito agreed to it verbally but the contract says otherwise. So far Margarito hasn't accepted a written contract with a phony 4mill offer, so there is no real excuses is there??? He hasn't accepted anything in order for him to turn it down.

Other than Margarito why would any welterweight want to fight Williams?? He's too ****in big for all the other welterweights and lets face it he's not a big name. If you step into the ring with him ur outsized by a lot and win/lose ur not gonna get a big payday. I like Williams despite some of them talking **** about Margarito, i want to see Williams in big fights but its gonna be tough. Margarito and his fans can relate to him as the same just happened to him not too long ago in his career...

I personally think Williams and Margarito should fight as Jr. middleweights instead of welterweights. If those two guys were to fight as jr middleweights they would bring lots of excitement to that division.

Williams responded to Clottey and his team but the fight couldnt be made for the 29th due to money issues. Paul Williams also stated that after he responded to Clottey's camp they got quiet about it.

and if u look at the fight it seemed that Margarito got tired when the 12th started...Williams outboxed Margarito as he did in the 1st half of the fight

AND Vernon Forrest said that he saw no reason to fight Paul Williams when asked about him.

To some extent Paul Williams is being avoided, BUT.....................Remember that Margarito asked for a rematch after his loss to Williams, and guess what Williams said no, and now all of a sudden Williams demands a rematch, ha now he has to wait like he made Margarito wait.

Yes, Margarito was offered 4 million dollars for a rematch BUT.................apparently there is tension between both fighters promoters, nothing to do with Margarito avoiding Williams, just boxing politics.

Williams feels like he deserves to be #1 at welterweight and not Margarito???? I think he has a claim, BUT.........Margarito has don more work throughout the division than Williams, (only way to settle is rematch!)

5ft tall? sorry im 6-2. and Goosen never made a 4mill dollar offer to Top Rank Promotions or Team Margarito. He just simply stated that to a ****** boxing reporter. Why wasn't an official contract made and faxed to top rank or team margarito? All that **** is a publicity stunt by goosen that the william fan boys take to the extreme.

In general Paul doesn't exsist...How sad, Arum is scared to pin his fighters against Paul...By the way, who out there wants to fight Paul? A fighter who is atleast worth it...Cintron ducked him and Arum could probably afford to pin Quintana on him...Which I have no interest in seeing so who else?
