    Bull****!

last time i checked Oscar De La Hoya had 5 losses and yet he's still the PPV king. He still sells out arenas and is loved by millions of fans, so this is a bull**** thread. Nobody abandons fighters after a loss, it's the way they lose that makes the people either follow them or just drop them like a bad habit

I was rooting for Calzaghe but when I saw Roy's cut and how he wasnt answering any of JC's taunts I felt sad .

I dont care what anyone says, as a Calzaghe fan, I KNOW Roy Jones in his prime would have beat Joe.

Being undefeated for so long breeds a safety first mentality. It becomes less about taking risks and more about preserving your '0'.

If Mayweather had lost to Castillo and Calzaghe has lost to Reid, we might have seen some Floyd vs Cotto, or Calzaghe vs Dawson.

As it both, both have/will retired, having taking fights which they knew would allow them to preserve their unbeaten record, and make as much money as possible.

To be fair I was never a Sam Peter 'fan' but at one time i thought he was on his way to becoming the next George Forman.
Sometimes you just fall for the hype.

I never was a Pav fan and thought that his wins over Taylor who everyone was trashing before the fight were WAY WAY over rated.
He will still be one of the best middleweights around but you can't push him into hall of fame status over of a few BIG NAME wins .

Yeah. We don't really have much in common apart from the ferocious sex sessions, hence my ever increasing post count.

Yeah, she's got ass cheeks that make my **** dissappear, but eh...it gets boring plundering her ass after a while.

Then again its really really doubtful you would take me in a fight tough guy. Really doubtful.

With that kind of outburst, I think you do need your ass kicked, preferably in front of your fat ass wife.
I'll take you right now, you little *****.

Oscar is a pop star, he's on a whole nother level of fame that only a hand full of fighters ever saw.

It also helps that most of his fights have been with the tip top fighters in his weight class or others with BIG TIME names.
