Who is North America's next star?

You are talking about a continent, not a country.

Well, if a potential Vice President doesn't know Africa is a continent and not a country, what do you expect from the average man in the street?

its dumb, but Calzaghe did it too, and some European posters do it as well...for different reasons, but it happens.

you guys are assuming that the thread starter believes that Europe is all one big coutnry, when he said nothing of the sort. all he said was 'Who will Europe support when Hatton and Calzaghe retire?'. which is kind of dumb since not all European countries think alike, but in no way did he hint that he thought Europe was one big country.

and Calzaghe and some Europeans do about the same thing. Ive heard comments like 'Europeans have better fighters than America'. are we supposed to believe that Calzaghe nad other europeans think that Europe is one big country? no, theyre just generalizing and grouping all the countries together. which I dont believe in, but whatever.

A guy with a username that puts emphasis upon a state within a country is unable to recognise the existence of countries within a continent.

                  Ha.

We're all European, yes. But there's a difference between Germany and France. There's a difference between Sweden and Finland. There's a difference between Austria and Switzerland. Understand...?

Holy ****, I've just given you more geographical knowledge in 2 minutes than you received in your whole youth in one of your American schools.
