It amazes me that views can be so different of one fight

In one persons version, I hear people saying that the referee was completely biased, and that Haye got dropped twice before hitting Barrett in the back of the head to win.

In anothers, I hear that Haye easily knocked out Barrett and is ready to knock out everyone in the division.

I didnt see the fight, but cmon people, what are you watching? you cant even judge a fight without being blinded by your other feelings created by your loopy logic

I didn't see anything out of ordinary in the fight. It was entertaining while it lasted, not a boxing match but a brawl.

Barrett was too old to compete with Haye and he really wasn't that good in the first place.

He showed a lot of heart but not much else. Deserved his payday though.

Boxing scene is full of the dumbest people in the world. The few people who have common sense keep me here.

You know how it is...once you watch the fight, go back and see which posters were being fair and which were horribly biased. That way you'll know who to ignore next time around.

At least that's what I always do.

I watched the fight on a stream. So did most posters. Some people are acting as if they 100% sure of things, despite only seeing the fight once, and on a poor quality video at that.

IMO Monte deserved a point deduction because he clearly hit Haye when Haye was down. I am not sure if it was a legit KD because it was up close and I couldn't clearly see what caused Haye to go down, a punch, push or slip.

Thats because we have people that like or hate a certain boxer, So there opinion would be blinded by their feeling towards that certain boxer.

I watch the fight from a stream so its difficult to decide if Haye was KD or if it was a slip, All i saw was a half-down Haye been hit but didnt know what happen for him to be on his way down, Barrett and Haye were both doing a lot of hitting on the back of the head when clinging.

i am trying not to be biased, but i thought the commentating and the ref were.

haye looked good, but flawed. theres was a possible knock down of haye but it was completely ignored by the ref and commentators.

one of the barrette knock downs imo was questionable, but that meant little in the
great scheme of things. barette was deducted a point for hitting while haye was down which was silly cause haye was doing the same thing without even a reprimand.

haye controlled the fight with his speed and power, but opened himself up too much imo. after manny knock downs the ref called it.

i thought Haye may have been down and it wasnt counted im not sure though

i also thought 1 kd was from a rabbit punch

Monte looked like a shot fighter to me

i went into it in more detail but the thread was merged
