it was a decent performance from haye

keep in mind barrett is quite far past his best, the moronic announcer was saying hayes victory over barrett was better than wlads because haye did him in 5 while it took wlad 7

but they didnt mention wlad fought a better and less worn version of barrett, (im a haye fan btw)

i think haye did well, i would like to see him set up his attacks with straights instead of loopy shots

but still, he showed his power is real and he looked pretty fast in there, and his reflexes were top notch

I don't think Monte is that bad, it's just that he freezes under the lights and consequently looks terrible.

he showed heart but i think he came in too heavy

        his balance was really bad

he would throw a left hook and not be able to keep his balance

his punches were as wide as ever, i thought he would straighten them up a bit

i cant question his heart but i wonder how he trained for the fight

When Monte Barret fell down, Haye didn't hit him while he was down, if you watch carefully, he missed by a few inches.

Besides that Haye is a very exciting fighter, britans most exciting fighter nowadays... hes got it all, speed, explosive power, ****iness and nice reflexes.

great offense......but he didnt get hurt mainly because barrett was slow telegraphed his punches....and haye looked weak in the clinches....so i still believe klitschkos will ko him......especially when wlad uses his signature tackle....

The entrance by Barrett was hilarious!! I think Haye needs a a few more heavyweight tune ups and then fight Wlad's glass chin before Dr Ironfist the Robocop.

you're actually starting to show signs of not being completely biased....
although i've only seen monte fight 3 times so i can't say whether he was in great shape or not

All it takes is 1 mildly good shot at heavyweight to finish him IMO...
i dont see this as a brilliant performance but he looked good.
