Is DAVID HAYE a VICIOUS KNOCKOUT just waiting to happen?

First of all brilliant performance tonight by the Hayemaker.

However, I cant help but think my boy David is a knockout waiting to happen. Not only is he packing the glass but his defense doesn't look great either.

All it takes is 1 mildly good shot at heavyweight to finish him IMO...

      So true.

Try watching the replay on a decent screen and not a 3 inch sopcast stream.

        Before the nonsense starts...

Althought thats suggesting that it hasnt already.

Good win for Haye with flaws. Definitely brings good movement and incredible power to heavyweight. A knockout victory over Barrett is a good start to his heavyweight career and is better than a lot of the other top 10 guys have on their records.

However, his biggest doubt, his chin, was untested. So this gives us no indication whatsoever of whether he can or cant stand up to the Klit brothers. No clue one way or the other, so its not really worth pretending that anyone has a definitive answer.

He has the power and movement to give either of them troubles. He'd look better against a slower heavyweight than he did against Barrett.

But this is just a good start, nothing more, nothing worse. CERTAINLY nothing damning that you could possibly be critical to him about.

No, I didn't think Barrett was in the same class, just as I know there is no way in hell Haye can hold the Klitschko's jock straps. It wouldn't even be a fight. Haye couldn't beat Brock, Ray Austin, Ibragimov, much less the Klits. I mean that's a sick promoter who puts Haye in with them."peeleft:

                  It Doesn't Matter

Could Haye lose to either Klitschko? He sure could but like I said before this fight was ever signed the Haye hating will continue. So many people said Barrett's better than Haye, Haye won't have power or speed at Heavyweight, and those same people are now picking this fight apart to say make Haye's victory seem like it was less than exciting or good. Now that Haye demolished Barrett these same people are saying "Barrett's not a real test, he's a journeyman, blah blah, blah. If he does beat either Klitschko it'll be something else. Vitali's old, Wlad's past his prime, Haye got lucky...something. Haye is exciting and brings the fight....nice change of pace for Heavyweights. I don't think people will ever give Haye the credit he deserves, even IF he becomes undisputed HW champion.

The guy was injured when he tried to get into the ring by jumping in,factor in the prison food he was given and the cardboard bed he had to put up on.

Haye is of course a good fighter and I know he will knock out Klitoris
