juan carlos giminez ferrari, branko sobot, will mcntyre, tocker pudwill, mger mtchkian are these real defenses? none of these guys even sniffed the top 10 ring ratings probably why the wbo(not a real belt) let calzaghe fight them for the worthless belt.Comment

You are definately a closet Calzaghe fan pretending to be a hater seein as you feel the need to bring him into nearly everything. Its obvious you really cant help yourself.
STFU Unless you have something usefull to say and stick to the topic.
This is not about Calzaghe,If you want to talk about him do it in a thread discussion that's actually about him because THIS ONE ISN'T.Comment

Maybe it's not a mistake, maybe those are the rules in boxing. A draw, a no contest are all considrered successfull title defenses due to the champ retaining that title. That's the point Im making, the mistake has been made.
I wouldn't have thought it possible either.
As for Jermain Taylor he beat B-Hop for the titles so no thats not the 20th successfull title defence since he lost.
I brought this up because I find it quite disturbing that such a mistake has been made with something such as an official record.
It makes me wonder how many other mistakes have been made when it comes to the record books.
There's probably alot more inconsitancies that we dont know about.Comment

Retaining the Title due to No Contest and ACTUALLY Successfully Defending it are two very different things.Comment

Hopkins and Joe both fought mostly bums, but Hopkins' resume makes Calzaghe's look like complete ****. It's not even close between the two of themComment
