B-Hop had 19 Successful Title Defences Not 20

After wining the vacant IBF Mddleweight title in 1995 in his second fight with Segundo Mercado B-Hop went on to defend his title 19 successful times not 20 as is most commonly touted.

The first fight with Robert Allen DOES NOT COUNT as it was ruled a No Contest.
(Due to Mills Lane knocking B-Hop out of the ring)

For some reason or other it's pretended that Hopkins made 20 title defences instead of the 19 that he really made.

    1996

    1. Jan. 27 -- Steve Frank, Phoenix, Arizona, KO 1
    (Retained IBF middleweight title)

Honestly Im used to the fact that things get twisted alot in boxing but it's even more off putting that things can get twisted when it comes to the record books which are supposed to truthfully record Important accomplishments for people of future generations to see.
