That's the truth! I would love to see Pavlik win, but it just ain't gonna happen. Pavlik couldn't keep up with BHop. There's no way Pavlik will be able to handle Calzaghe's speed.

          Calzaghe in an easy decision.

I believe Pavlik when he says he had an off-night. Off-nights happen every once in a while, he had bronchitis, and elbow injury, a whole bunch of other factors that MAY(or may not) have contributed to his loss. I still say Pavlik would win.

For the record I want to say that a loss to hopkins say nothing about the match up with calz. I do admit that Pavlik looks a little vulnerable after the loss but styles make fights and the beatdwon that Hopkins brought came on a fashion that is not similar to calz style at all. Calz is a pressure fighter with a high output (this is his strength), but so is Pavlik and I would bet Pavlik hits a little harder then Calza does. Unless calz draws up some master plan about how his 110 punches in a round would somehow force pavliks 110 punches per round to slow down this is a toss up fight. Not to mention these flash kds Calz has been suffering lately (a very high chance that he gets more then one in a fight with pavlik giving pavlik a few 10-8 rounds)

The 2 fights didn't change my opinion on either man. I always thought Pavlik was one-dimensional and predictable, he relies too much on being the bigger stronger man. Against bigger, more skilled, and tactically astute boxers, like Calzaghe and Hopkins, he was always going to look lost. Calzaghe would win an easy decision.
