Paul Williams, Goossen Respond To Margarito-Mosley

wonder what their response would be when discussing the mentality of choosing Quintana over Clottey as Paul's first title defense after beating Margarito when Quintana had recently been taken out by Cotto and Clottey gave Margo a hard as fight. Obviously, that bit them in the ass. But even Paul is guilty of what he is criticizing Margarito for.

Pwill is accusing Margs of turning down BIG MONEY to avenge a loss. Lets see, Pwill avenged his loss in brutal fashion. Clottey doesn't bring big money to the table. Actually, since he is promoted by Arum, all he does is ASK for big money. Quintana got the Pwill fight because he was willing to fight for the purse being offered. I am sure Arum was in no rush to put Clottey in there with Pwill after he just beat Margs.

Clottey has no TV date, no opponent and no fan base, but he thinks he is worthy of a multi-million dollar payday. When he has not even made 1 mill for a fight yet. We are talking apples and oranges.

I do not knock Margs for fighting Shane, as long as it brings him 4 mill.

Paul is trying to get a big name fighter to fight him. Not his fault Margs hasn't signed the contract. Wonder is Margs is waiting for the outcome of the Pwill fight. If the Shane fight is for less than 4 mill, Margs will fight Pwill upon his victory. Its a good question since the fight will be on regular HBO.

Marg will beat SSM, he will beat Cotto in the rematch, then he and Pwill scrap again at the end of the year for the UD WW title. that seems to be the plan. There's 2 sides to every ****in story. Marg wanted Pwill again after he lost to him, but Pwill was gonna unify wit Cintron (ended up losin to CQ). Now that Marg is the man at WW, Pwill needs him more than vice versa despite havin beaten him already. No more **** talkin between these guys can be done without bein repetitive.
