Looks like Khan is trying to make excuses for himself..

besides that hatton wouldn't of got caught by any of prescotts punches, never mind the power hook that caught khan.

Moral of the story: you say all kinds of things to your mates to make them feel better.

doent this embarress you khan nuts?
Who is this question addressed to? I don't think I have ever actually seen or heard of a Khan fan on this website...

As for the comment, yes Hatton would indeed have been knocked out following that combination of punches. But Hatton wouldn't have been turned into captain spaghetti-legs by the jab that preceded the first right hand, Prescott would never have managed to get set to land the bombs.

So this might bolster the point I've ALWAYS made that Mayweather's KO wasn't reall so, that though he might have gone down from running forward right into a punch, it was the ring post which actually did the damage.

Mind you, Hatton was losing the fight, and really couldn't win it against an elusive guy like Mayweather. He should never have taken it, could have fought for slightly less money against a guy he could beat.

I'm pretty sure that Prescott would have approached it differently if a certain Mr Hatton was coming out of the corner towards him rather than china chin Khan...

This is silly...sort of like if the gorrilla had let Tyson hit him on the chin without reacting first...but lets not go in to that...

That's true, Hatton took a horrendous beating from round six on. I find it astonishing that some people take his KO loss to Mayweather to mean he has a bad chin. It's not like he was hit with a single punch that did him in, he took punishment for four straight rounds before he walked into a counter hook.

I guess Hatton also said that jab would of rocked him too, Khan?

to be fair, yes those finishing punches would have KO'd anyone from lightweight through lightwelter.

What was it like 3 free powers shots right on the point of the chin? Simple physics.

Like Squealpiggy says though Khan was doing an Irish jig from a jab that wouldn't happen to most.
