  • Khan: "Hatton Says Prescott Would Have Stopped Him"

Lightweight Amir Khan is still getting himself together after being knocked out in September by unbeaten Colombian puncher Breidis Prescott in only 54-seconds. According to Khan, Ricky Hatton spoke to him about the loss and told him that Prescott's big punch would have stopped him as well. [details]

Exactly. If Hatton maybe was 180 pounds he would have been KOd....But certainly not at 140.

              lol

i'm sure he was just being nice... Prescott may well KO him if he was allowed to hit Ricky square in the face, but even Hatton's head-guard defensive style would ensure he doesn't get hit as cleanly as Khan did

The headline for the article is a little misleading.

Wasn't Prescott punching through Khan's gloves? Unless Roach has thought Khan how to evade a lot of punches Prescott might have his number
