Am I the only person who is put off by the way foreign fighters are treated in the UK.Benard Hopkins complained about the way he was treated. He made a big fight on Setanta and had to be cooled down by Steve Bunce. He had to remind these guys he was a millionaire.

Tarver had treatment pronmens and Another European fighter was given a matchbox for a dressing room. The surprising thing is the panel on Setanta seem to be taking it as nothing,David Haye says Barret came to fight not live well.

I was a Haye supporter and was going to get 2 tickets but I'm sorry,he has to treat people right.I'm not sure I will be routing for him anymore.

Do Americans treat people wrong because even Danny Williams came back so happy with the way Tyson treated him.

Do you know Danny williams got paid £30,000 to fight Tyson??? Barrett would have had his people check everything for him before coming over to the UK so i really dont know whats going on.

Im sorry, but Barrett needs to stop being such a big baby. He should be grateful he even got the chance to fight Haye, because sadly enough Barrett is nothing more than a gatekeeper.

If I was a heavyweight journeyman Id be going crazy for a shot against Haye...I mean, not only is he a big name, but his chin sucks, and any heavyweight with a punch has a decent chance at beating him.

When I went to England, 30 pounds a day was just fine for food, at least for one person. then again, we kept going to this chain place that had two meals for 14 pounds or something like that. but still. Just be happy that theyre bothering to pay for your expenses in the first place.

Most American fighters, particularly heavyweights, of the B-level and C-level variety, jump at the opportunity to fight in Europe. The Europeans pay very well for opponents, with the understanding that they are in well over their heads and coming to pick up an L.

It's the ones with ambition, like Monte Barrett and Chris Byrd, who complain because winning is a priority.

                barrett

i fought in germany for 4 years as an amateur. I was in the military and moonlighted with the germans; they treated me better than here in the states. europe is famous for their treatment of fighters and i can't understand what is going on with barrett. i do think this is a bad fight for haye. barrett is not a consistent loser and can be explosive at times and it seems that his mind set is to destroy haye; dangerous fight....
