After fighting at junior middleweight and above since 2001, and struggling to make 150-pounds for the May fight with Steve Forbes, there was a lot of doubt that Oscar De La Hoya would make the welterweight limit of 147 without a serious struggle. De La Hoya, who faces Manny Pacquiao at the welterweight limit on December 6 in Las Vegas, claims to already weigh 145-pounds. Pacquiao, who is moving up by two weight divisions from the lightweight limit of 135-pounds, is said to currently weigh around 151-pounds - six pounds more than De La Hoya. [details]

Oscar is like a woman when it comes to his weight (and wardrobe).
He also said he could make 140, and that he was around 147 for a month before the Forbes fight.
We'll see where he's at during the weigh-in. DLH's ability to safely make 147 will play a big part in Manny's chances.Comment

I can believe it,.. the last time DHL looked buff was against Mayweather,..against 2bls he had hardly any muscle tone at all,.. the older you get the harder it is to keep muscle mass. (I hope I can resist buying this freakshow of a fight)Comment
