I have accepted some criticism of Roy in the past.

What I find ridiculous is ppl who go on like everyone he fought was a bum.

Yeah, it's an odd thing that people say Jones never fought anybody of note. It's true that some of the best fighters he faced were over the hill, which is I think where some of the haters get their notes from, but in all he fought a massive variety of really great fighters of all styles and many of them were still very good or in their prime.

Amazing fighter who, sadly, gets sometimes underrated because of the horrible way his career finished with the knockouts. Nonetheless, he will go down as one of the greatest fighters, already has really, to have ever fought and certainly one of the most physically talented.
