ruiz doesn't have Oscar's versatility and Manny doesn't have Roy's defensive talent though. so it's not a very good comparison
i wasnt really comparing them...i just read the question and thought if their was ever a fight where the weight difference between the fighters was alot......
HOWEVER...SOMEONE ONCE POSTED A THREAD SAYING PAC-DE LA HOYA WOULD LIKE LIKE RUIZ-JONES
But Mosley has a much bigger natural frame then Pacquiao, and was never nearly as low in weight as pacquiao was when he started boxing
Shane Mosley jumped one weight class to get to De La Hoya. Mosley started fighting @ lightweight when he first started his career. De La Hoya started @ Super Feather.. They have always been about the same size though.
They fought each other a few times in the amateurs too.
Roberto Duran vs Marvin Hagler (Hagler was better than DLH), Roberto Duran vs Iran Barkley (Barkley wasn't as good as DLH pound for pound but he was a huge middleweight and a big hitter).
Henry Armstrong won the featherweight title in 1937, he moved up to welterweight and won the title in 1938. That same year he won the lightweight title.
