Great Idea for Boxing That No one will do(thoughts...)

Have a great fight card on ESPN on a Saturday night in February after the Super Bowl. College Football is over and the only sport going is Basketball mid season. It would be a great time for ESPN to hype the fights up. It should be a the future of boxing card and give fans new fighters to fall in love with

Something like this would work for me

James Kirkland vs Cory Spinks Vacant IBF 154lb Title(verno is vacating for fight)

Andre Berto vs Luis Collazo WBA Welterweight Title(Berto takes mandatory gets exposure)

Daniel Jacobs vs TBA

Demetrius Andrade vs TBA

I would be interested to see how Kirkland does against a fighter like Spinks. It's one of those fights that I can see going either way.

well you will probably find out. Phillips is vacating the IBF title and Spinks and Kirkland are the top 2 contenders(they may have to win elimination fights but im sure they would)

I would definetly not merit an HBO main event so the ESPN exposure would be great for Kirkland and the sport. ESPN could hype Kirkland up to be a god and really get America behind him. Card would bring 4 fighters to get America VERY excited about.
