    No it isn't.

And the only thing developed out of the first ten shows was that Mhay Thai, BJJ and Catch were solid arts and that any dumb ******* who held a McDojo belt thought they were tough ****.

And you can't compare Lesnar to Kimbo. Lesnar has a legit base he's building from, Kimbo didn't. Kimbo is what a boxing promoter saw as "The MMA archetype". And he was proven wrong.
Dude you're missing my point of my whole post....I could care less about either of the two to be totally honest with you...Its not Kimbo's fault he was recieving all of the hype...Its was mainly the Elite XC fault for most of the hype Kimbo was recieving(along with some nuthuggers).

My point was Kimbo and Brock didnt have to many fights in the MMA sport but they both was receiving hype to be the next best thing in their orginazation...thats the point I was stressing...They both havent done much in the sport from what I've witnessed and they're both being hyped to be this unstoppable force...I just didn like how Dana singled out Kimbo...but Brock is being hyped the same Kimbo was...Get it now?

Actually Delahoya started his career at Jr Lightweight when he was 19, Pacquiao started his pro career at 16 at strawweight.

When Delahoya was 16 he won the national golden gloves at Bantamweight

When Floyd was 16 he won the national golden gloves at 106

Just to put things into prospective.

Really? Who were the Muay Thai guys who won in the first 10 shows?

Who were the catch guys other than Ken Shamrock?

Street fights are a base. I didn't say they were a good base.

Dana is propping up Lesnar the same way he made fun of EliteXC for propping up Kimbo. Dana has always been a hypocrite. Deal with it.

Mainstream boxing is definitely dying. You can thank Golden Boy for that.

He also if you notice marketing UFC directly to the core group that WWF/WCW were vying for in the mid 90's early 2000's. If you'll see how he markets his product and their fanbase and see it compared to a wrestling crowd you'll see the similarities.

Also for further proof you can check out the fans/crowds/message forums before Zuffa bought the UFC and see a clear difference.
I'll check that out man...I gotta be honest with ya..My knowledge is limited on this topic about Dana and wrestling thing.

Let's just put it this way: A lot more casual know nothing fans. A lot more tatooed goateed tapout type trailer trash. A lot more people wearing shirts that make them "tough".

Back in the day almost everyone who followed the sport trained. So there was a lot more knowledge.

Difference being that Kimbo didn't have the same quality opponents Lesnar did. And White does have the pedigree to fall back on.

I do think it's ****ty that Lesnar is getting a title shot though.
