As I said before, it's a fight based off style and name status more then record. As a fan, I don't like or condone it, but I see where Dana's coming from with it.

And you can't compare Lesnar to Kimbo. Lesnar has a legit base he's building from, Kimbo didn't. Kimbo is what a boxing promoter saw as "The MMA archetype". And he was proven wrong.

Dude you're missing my point of my whole post....I could care less about either of the two to be totally honest with you...Its not Kimbo's fault he was recieving all of the hype...Its was mainly the Elite XC fault for most of the hype Kimbo was recieving(along with some nuthuggers).

My point was Kimbo and Brock didnt have to many fights in the MMA sport but they both was receiving hype to be the next best thing in their orginazation...thats the point I was stressing...They both havent done much in the sport from what I've witnessed and they're both being hyped to be this unstoppable force...I just didn like how Dana singled out Kimbo...but Brock is being hyped the same Kimbo was...Get it now?

if you are going to be critical of DLH v Pac and then promote Brock Lesnar fighting Coture, youve already lost the battle.

Actually Delahoya started his career at Jr Lightweight when he was 19, Pacquiao started his pro career at 16 at strawweight.

When Delahoya was 16 he won the national golden gloves at Bantamweight

When Floyd was 16 he won the national golden gloves at 106

Well basically it's not a situation. Dana saw how Vince got WWF greater than WCW in the late 90's. By being an onscreen ******* and playing an evil owner character.

He also if you notice marketing UFC directly to the core group that WWF/WCW were vying for in the mid 90's early 2000's. If you'll see how he markets his product and their fanbase and see it compared to a wrestling crowd you'll see the similarities.

Also for further proof you can check out the fans/crowds/message forums before Zuffa bought the UFC and see a clear difference.

Let's just put it this way: A lot more casual know nothing fans. A lot more tatooed goateed tapout type trailer trash. A lot more people wearing shirts that make them "tough".

Back in the day almost everyone who followed the sport trained. So there was a lot more knowledge.

Difference being that Kimbo didn't have the same quality opponents Lesnar did. And White does have the pedigree to fall back on.

I do think it's ****ty that Lesnar is getting a title shot though.
