What about the fighters who say in post fight interviews "I let my promoter put a fighter in front of me"? Clearly in some instance, the promoter is the one calling the shots. Bob Arum or Don King come to mind...
Sure. But if the superstar says I want so and so I'm sure the promotor finds out exactly who works for who.
