With two different stables and two different TV companies backing 'em up, this is a hard fight to bring about.

If the boxers really want to have this fight, they have to force negotiations being materialized. So, it's a good thing Sturm creating interest by being loud-mouthed, and Abraham might catch on.

Though, 1) I rather see Abraham vs Pavlik; 2) Will Abraham be able to stay within the weight limit for much longer?

Yeah, he is a good boxer for sure. I just have a strong dislike for the guy for some reason. Mainly because up until now, he seemed interested only in clutching to his alphabet belt and not unifying the titles. If he takes the fight with Arthur then my respect will go up significantly.

Good, now maybe these two will finally fight setting up a summer 09 unification with Pavlik.

Right now, this fight makes sense. If you take Pavlik out of the picture, there isn't hotter middleweights right now. Pavlik clearly will have a fight or two before fighting either one of these guys so it only makes sense for them to fight each other. Again, who is better right now at 160?

De La hoya was to use Sturm as a "tune up" and nearly lost. Sturm isn't to be taken lightly but he himself hit in on the head when he said he can outbox Abraham. A fight between Sturm and Abraham could not turn into a slugfest and turn into good news for Sturm.

But I love this fight on HBO. What boxing fan wouldn't. Abraham has made it clear he will fight anyone - even with a broken jaw. He visible lack of respect for fighters (see giving Edison Miranda the middle finger in the pre-fight presser for part 2) is interesting. I wonder if this is a psychological tool he uses or if he clearly thinks his brute strenght and power can beat anyone at 160.

Should he beat Sturm, which I think he does late in the fight, a bout with Pavlik may be the best middle weight fight that has taken place in many years.

          Let the wars begin.

Id like to see Abraham vs. Pavlik, but Sturm vs. Abraham would be very good too.

I don't know if this was a reliable report or not, but Sturm was offered 2.5 million Euros to fight. At today's exchange rate that's $ 3,128,000; that's a hefty purse in a good economy....
