The more Calzaghe talks the more you know he thinks he lost. He's clearly scared to give a rematch knowing he was beaten in the first fight, so he's trying to soothe his psyche with these ****** statements his making.

Calzaghe should just retire. He'll be remembered as a good fighter who got two wins vs old greats.

Im a calzaghe fan but he's full of ****! He's been droppin all sorts of excuses lately about the B hop fight. He even said that Hopkins style is my worst nightmare, that much is true. REMATCH!!!!!!

not being defensive at all.those of us that know joe won,know the fight was close.but personally i am pig sick of all this bull**** about calzaghe lost,he is a coward and blah blah blah.that sort of crap needs answering..thats sort of the purpose of these forums.and its annoying that all the idiots saying this type of crap,are unwilling to address other issues,in particular that gaylord move that hopkins tried to pull in round eleven.no matter what side of the fence you sit on,you gotta agree it wasnt a great fight to watch at all,and i see little point in a rematch as the result will probably be exactly the same

hopkins lost yes he did..and i made a thread saying hopkins doesnt have the stamina to beat him over 12 rounds

oh right.thats why think it would be pretty much the same if they did fight again.another close fight,horrible to watch,with joe pulling away down the stretch.its probably hypothetical though as it doesnt look like its gonna happen.tell you one thing though,calzaghe is doing a fantastic job of maximising any potential purse for the fight though! lol

Crust. I wasn't saying Hopkins(thought Joe won myself) won but the point I was making, if someone gives Joe a close fight he comes out with excuse after excuse. He has been doin it since the Reid fight.

thats a fair point i suppose.still,its quite nice for him that he gets to make excuses for his victories rather than his defeats.if he wants to retire then good luck to him,but i would love to see him fight dawson,whom i rate very highly.
