I would like to see this fight if Calzaghe is planning to fight back in Cardiff again Johnson would be a great opponent, It would be a tough fight but I would see Calzaghe winning by a UD due to his work rate, but Johnson would have a fairly good chance. I want to see this fight.

Nobody dominates Johnson. You mean dominate him like he did Bika another pressure fighter, hilarious.

I suspect it might have a little bit to do with Veit being the mandatory both times. Amazing what a bit of education on a subject before speaking can do ...

Anyway, as for Glencoffe, he'd be ideal for Calzaghe. Any come-forward fighter would be.

Yeah it would be intresting though Johnson would be one of the few opponents who is stronger than Calzaghe and would be backing Joe up all night long, I think Joe would win due to his workrate but i dont think it would be one sided.

He'd have his moments but what needs to be remembered is that Calzaghe's better on the back foot - always has been. The main reason why Hopkins made him look like **** is because he was the one forcing the fight.

Lol it's funny how one fight against chad dawson suddenly makes glen johnson someone who could beat Calzaghe..you forgotten his losses to hopkins, tarver and most importantly CLINTON WOODS.
How ppl can think a guy who got beaten by clinton woods could beat calzaghe

                    Uhhhh... what?

Calzaghe is always the one coming forward and forcing the fight.

Really, that's how he dominated Lacy, got Kessler to panic, because he was making Kessler back up... Hopkins did real well because he is a terrific mover/counterpuncher, but... he came straight ahead the whole time against Jones too... or do you think Jones's back ended up on the ropes by accident?

Calzaghe definitely does not fight best off of his back foot, he is best coming forward.

well he won all 3 woods fights imo, he knocked out Roy Jones beat Tarver had a close 2nd fight with him got a draw with Dawson imo. Also the fight against Hopkins was a much younger Johnson who was a boxer rather than a come forward pressure fight, It might be worth getting a Johnson collection before commenting on that.
