good post, Hopkins looked better against Joe because he's a naturally defensive fighter and used all the tricks he knew with a helping hand from the ref who allowed him to hold, headbutt, fake low-blows.

In reality, he's on the same level as RJJ at this stage of his career, not much difference at all. Only difference is that B-Hop is being worshipped and overrated for beating the kid Kelly.

is it really that big? B-Hop is overrated because of his win v Pavlik, he's not that good, neither is Jones anymore. Styles make fights, I reckon its a close one.

hopkins would not get clobbered and knocked down in the first round and hopkins would not let a blind shot fighter survive the whole 12 rounds. just my take.

If he came to Wales it would likely fill the Millennium Stadium (got 50,000 for Kessler), not sure about ppv.

I think Joe is too old to be moving up. He is at the end of his career no matter how well he's fighting (reckon he has 2/3 fights left) and you don't take those sorts of risks when you're at that point.
