Would you still watch a Roy Jones Jr. v Bernard Hopkin rematch?

Since Americans don't really care for joe Calzaghe, do you think there would be much interest generated by this RJJ v BH fight?

also, is Jones Jr. broke? if not, why's he still fighting?

i'd watch it yeah - i watch everything i can, but i disagree with it since seeing the difference between B-Hop and Jones Jr. right now

it'd pretty much just be a public humiliation

is it really that big? B-Hop is overrated because of his win v Pavlik, he's not that good, neither is Jones anymore. Styles make fights, I reckon its a close one.

what makes you think Roy's style is suited to beating this version of B-Hop? i think it's the opposite if anything

It is massive. BHop looked like a beast against Pavlik whilst Jones looked completely done in there against Joe. Styles make fights I agree, but ROy no longer possesses the necessary capabilities to perform his "style".

I wouldn't like the idea of watching it, but I'd watch any boxing. Bernard would make it look as if he stuffed kryptonite in his gloves.

please don't tell me you bought into that fight making B-Hop good. He's a wily character, an old man capable of schooling a kid, a beast he is not.

i seriously doubt whether he's that much ahead of Jones if at all. Jones still got the moves he's just not on Calzaghe's level, nor is B-Hop but that doesn't matter, because they're not fighting Joe.

i think difference seems bigger then it actually is. they both dominated slower opponents in trinidad and pavlik. hopkins handled joe speed better, but how much does that matter in match against jones?

I'd watch this fight, but at this stage in their careers I think B-Hop would destroy Roy

good post, Hopkins looked better against Joe because he's a naturally defensive fighter and used all the tricks he knew with a helping hand from the ref who allowed him to hold, headbutt, fake low-blows.

In reality, he's on the same level as RJJ at this stage of his career, not much difference at all. Only difference is that B-Hop is being worshipped and overrated for beating the kid Kelly.
