i got EX i think he would make Toney come to him and he would get in and out and land some clean effective shots and pot shot his way to a decision i dont wanna disrespect a GREAT fighter like Toney but i think EX is too smart for him and once he worked out how to get through his D i think he would win

Hopkins was and is a tape freak he would dissect Toney's style
funniest thread I have seen, James Toney at a catch weight, GTF outta here dude! Only weight Toney catches is the half piece a chicken leg that falls out of his mouth while he's in-between chews. And by the way I like Toney, he just has what we call a "weight problem".

          Prime for prime.

There would be no real need for a catchweight since both fought at 160 and 168.

160 would favour Hopkins and 168 would favour Toney though, so it could be fought at a catchweight.

              I agree.

If both men are at their absolute best (generally how you judge fantasy matchups) then I'd take JT. All of this inconsistent **** doesn't matter when you are considering both men would be fit and ready to fight.

It's a bad stylistic matchup for both of them, I can't see either one of them winning clearly, close decision that could go either way.

If we're talking about a healthy James Toney, I'll admitt...This fight can go either way.

B-Hop would do the same thing to Toney as Jones did.
