Where's he said this, link, context?

I'm very surprised. He seemed humbled after the fight and gave respect to Joe. He clearly said during the fight he couldn't get at Joe. He lost every round after the first, wasn't really after a KO. How in his thinking, would he have won that fight? I would really like to hear what someone thinks.

He is definitely deluded, I'm quite surprised by this.

How does this surprise anyone. Boxing is like anything in where you have to sell yourself for future paydays. So he has to make you believe if it wasnt for the cut he really would have won. Musicians do it after a flopped album trying to sell the next one, same for every boxer I've ever seen that lost. They know if you dont buy the ticket they dont get paid, therefore its common sense to do this.

          Pride is a funny thing.

I don't think this story is true by the way.

Im shocked at him saying that...
its obvious the cut would put a damper on things but i cant see him doing anything differently a second time around...
But in saying that though Jones was willing to give Joe a 2nd fight if he beat him
                      why not give Jones one..
