I seriously doubt that would help him either...Cotto hit Margorito with everything he had and he still couldnt hurt him...Uppercut, body shot, straight crosses, hooks and many other punches has 0 effect on Margorito. Hell you'll damn near have to hit him with a lead pipe to even make him budge.

IMO I think Cintron has more power than Cotto and Cintron didnt make Margorito budge....Its just Margorito chin is that good when it comes to taking punches.

I forgot who said this but someone on here said that fighting Margarito must be like fighting Michael Myers, no matter what you try to do to him he keeps coming at you (more like jogging at you while he's smiling)

      must be crazy lollll

Question is how will Cottos gameplan differ?

I believe the key is to get Margarito backing up.
          Improve his stamina.

LMAO! I guess thats why so many boxers fall victim to him...I know I would get discouraged if I hit a guy with everything I had and he kept on jogging at me like I didnt do **** to him...That some scary **** man!

Irish man, you are way off with this.

Pressuring Margarito is playing into his hands. If the first fight showed you anything it was that Cotto cannot trade with Margarito.

I don't see Marg laying Cotto out, he doesn't have that kind of power, he's an accumulation puncher.

Cotto has to swallow his pride and not be lured into a brawl. He needs to move, NOT fight off the ropes. His camp needs to help him adjust something to make him less susceptible to uppercuts, he's had trouble with them his whole career time to do something about it.

He can, without a doubt, decision Marg. He is capable. But the guy just has too much pride I don't know if I can see Miguel Cotto going in there being like "Ok, I can't knock him out, I have to be smart and pile on the points". He's going to want redemption and he's going to want to knock Tony out which I don't think he can do, and that's what worries me.

Better stamina, better gameplan. Don't trade, pace yourself, circle don't rope-a-dope, you're not good at it.

              That is all.

If we're talking one punch KO power Cintron does hit harder than Cotto (thats what I meant by more power)

                  I agree.

Cintron hits MUCH harder than Cotto but the biggest difference is, Cotto keeps it all together much much better. Cotto is superior to Cintron in every aspect of the game.

Cotto will beat Margarito in the rematch by not thinking about the KO, moving all the time. He needs to punch and move, punch and move. Like a bigger Calderon, if he tries to KO Margo or runs out of gas again RIP Cotto. That's why he needs to train 100 times harder this time and be ready to keep moving for 12 rounds, if he does that Cotto can win a relatively easy desicion, if he doesnt do it, he is gonna get KTFO.
