Hagler clearly doesn't follow the sport all that much anymore. There is no way he would have said that if he knew about Tarver - Dawson result.
The fight that I personally would most like to see Calzaghe take, would be against Glen Johnson, but there isn't enough money in that one.Comment

Tarver....?????
It'd be a nice safe fight to bow out on in Wales if Joe was thinking that way.
Tarver is pretty good but unspectacular, he's about as good as Richie Woodhall imo, Richie was a good fighter.Comment

Wow Tarver fight is pretty pointless. Hes too old and his work rate is terrible now as well. He beat Roy his second and 3 fight do to Roys idiotic pride to get back down to light H, from Heavy W. His first fight with Tarver was his last big hurrah. From there it went down hill.
There so many fighter that could beat Roy Jones at this stage of his career it would be totally pointless to fight Tarver just to prove you can also beat the man that beat the man you beat. But if we follow Joe's career, its totally possible that he will make this fight happen just to shut the critics up even though its meaningless fight. Joe destroys Tarver because whenever someone throws punches at Tarver and doesn't stop, Tarver shells up and waits for you to stop before even throwing a punch. He doesn't hit back if your on the Offensive. Thats why a Prime Jones would destroy Tarver at any age of Tarvers short career.
The fight that will shut the critics up will be Chad Dawson fight. A young hungry fighter that is still very active and at the top of his game. Sure he had a minor set back with Glenn ( I like Glenn, no ****), but Chad is the future of the Light Heavy division. His style is almost reminiscent of a Prime Jones. Not nearly as good, but just reminds me of his style when he fought Tarver. Pretty good fighter that will be light heavy weight Champ for some time.Comment

Where is the source for this story? Where is the link? I like the idea of a Tarver or Dawson fight. Either would be a good ending.Comment

Antonio Tarver would knock Calzaghe out. He's a big Light Heavyweight and also a southpaw. Calzaghe won't fight Antonio Tarver. That's a FACT!Comment
