Old Hagler clearly doesn't follow the sport anymore.

I was thinkign the same. He wouldn't say such a thing if he was aware of how Chad Dawson beat him up. I think there are 3 competitive fights for him to do to prove himself: Chad Dawson, Winky Wright and most importantly a B-Hop rematch.

Saying Dawson is one thing as he's not proved much, but Tarver? I know Hagler had good defence but a few good shots obviously got through. Tarver has losses to Jones, Johnson, Hopkins and Dawson. How on earth would he be more worthy of a shot than Dawson whom just beat him?

Did tarver just lose to Dawson, i didnt realize that. Otherwise it might have been a good fight for JC. But really nothing more for JC to do really. He can i guess have another fight if he really wants to sign of in fashion in front of his hometown crowd.
There is no rush for him to make the decision. Just make sure he dont get too much out of shape while making his decision.
I dont know who that opponent could be though. Maybe ChaD dawson, who i have never seen what he looks like or how he fights like.

Joe Calzaghe has one more fight left in him, according to American middleweight legend Marvin Hagler.

The Welshman, unbeaten in 46 fights, has been urged to retire following Sundays victory over th Roy Jones Jr.

But Hagler told the BBC:
