so someone throwing bombs with a much bigger guy, back and forth, taking numerous hard shots, but yet continuing to keep throwing in defense is a ***** because he didn't stand there with his forearms up in fear of getting hit. Are you really that ****** to not realise the ONLY reason when 12 rounds is because he fought the way he faught and that was scared, protecting himself, scared to get hit and putting his hands up while his opponent is shaking his hips, hands on the hips, tongue out, smiling at you sometimes so close they can probably kiss yet jones doesn't even have enough guts to throw a punch to try to hit calzaghe cause he's so worried about putting his hands up so he doesn't get hit. He did that **** in the tito fight too, luckily for him tito was smaller and roy wasn't scared to get hit.

Yeah Cotto did more in his fight with Margarito,Granted that's a fact,But you cant honestly say that someone who quits has more heart than a guy who sticks it out till the end.

????? Cotto TOO could have finished a fight if he stayed in the crab postition and took hits on his forearms all night. Man I was rootin for Roy, but he went out like a man having flashbacks to the time when his dad was whoopin his ass and allhe could do is cover up and pray.

Cotto fought like a champ for 9 rounds with a ****ed up nose and still tried to WIN. Roy fought to SURVIVE.

A prime Roy would've had jumped Joe in the 1st after the KO and either forced a KO or a refereee stoppage TKO.

Let's not forget, this wasn't a flash knockdown. Joe was genuinely hurt for a good minute there.

Roy went out like a *****, and Cotto took a knee when he knew he had no more in the tank But he at least TRIED. Roy went out like a victim of spousal abuse. "argh!" "Noooooo!!!" "Why!!!!!" "Ugh!"

I was shouting at the tv telling jones to attack calzaghe. Calzaghe was stunned it was very obvious. The old roy would have stormed calzaghe as soon as he got up, he would have thrown so many punches that even if only half were landing the ref would have had no choice but to step in. Instead jones was too scared to throw in fear of getting hit.

This is a really tough one to pick, honestly. It's not cut and dry, black and white, straight down the middle like most picks.

On the one hand you have a prime Cotto, giving his best to Margarito for 11 solid rounds. Hitting him with everything he had left before finally bowing down to the better man and quitting to avoid taking further punishment.

On the other hand you have a shot Jones, seeming content to hide in the corner for th emajority of the fight with his earmuffs on. Even when Joe dropped his hands and tried to make a show of it, Roy wouldn't throw a single punch. He was scared ****less.

I don't know man, I just don't know. One part of me wants to scream "Cotto showed more heart!" but the other part of me wants to scream "Roy was 7 years past his prime and completely shot!".
