I hear God doesn't have a fight booked right now.
Calzaghe should fight Dawson and Pavlik

Lets face it, the Americans aren't going to respect him until he destroys all of their heroes and, if we're honest, his resume of opponents doesn't quite compare with the all time greats of boxing. The wins I respect are:
Chris Eubank
Jeff Lacy
Mikkel Kessler
Bernard Hopkin
Roy Jones Jr.
But in truth Eubank, Hopkin and Jones Jr. were past their best.
I'm a big fan of Calzaghe but he needs a couple more names under his belt. Joe is more than capable of beating both these guys to seal his legacy stateside and should do it.
I think Dawson has a pretty decent chance against Calzaghe.Comment

For me Calzaghe is fighting really well right now. There are still good opponents out there for him to face (and I don't include B-Hop as he was well beaten). I reckon Calzaghe should take them on..Dawson for sure - in Wales.Comment

he should forget Pavlik, B-Hop's already dealt with him and ruined his credibility until he beats someone else of worth (i'm thinking Abraham)
a B-Hop rematch should maybe happen with all the doubt surrounding the first fight, and if he was to win more decisively it'd be nothing but good for him
a Dawson win would be great, it'd be very similar to what B-Hop did to Pavlik... it may not be a big draw but i think it'd get a lot of respect amongst slightly more knowledgable fans... however it's not a given that he'd win... it's the very definition of a high risk/low reward fight at this stage
an option is possibly Winky Wright? Winky did call him out afterall, plus he has a recognisable name... however if/when Joe won that it'd probably be dismissed quite easily by a lot of Americans and haters... a name for the resume though
apart from that you're left with Froch i guess... it'd be a good fight for us Brits and maybe a Millennium Stadium filler... however it's another one that could be easily dismissed by Americans/haters and would no doubt bomb over in the States... an okay name for the resume thoughComment
