Jones has a lot more style with his show-boating that's for sure

TBH i don't mind a little bit of taunting, but Joe overdid it somewhat, especially seeing as it was pretty redundant by about round 6... but Jones has been just as guilty of this throughout his whole career, so fuck it, and Jones didn't appear to be too hurt by all the show-boating either... i'm sure i caught him laughing and smiling a lot when Joe was doing it and at the end of rounds, if he can take it in his stride i don't see why his fans can't

Some showboating is great and adds excitement to fights but in this case Joe took it way too far mocking Roy. I wonder if anyone ever told him that Jones was way past his best and by mocking him, it makes Joe looke like a total prick?

I knew Joe was an a55hole before the fight and nothing has changed, but it does not change the notion that he was doing this to a living legend who is old and would have whipped his a55 prime for prime.

The difference is that you can showboat with an old, depleted Jones but when somebody did it in Jones' prime, we all know what happened.*

Calzaghe does showboat, which is fine. But he over did it against Jones. There was no need for that.

at first i thought it was great to see 2 of the biggest showboaters in boxing together in the same ring. it was fun in the beginning, but it got annoying in the later rounds. like lampley said, joe alrdy made his point, he didn't need to (or try to) embarass roy.

it was pretty redundant, and the fact that he was doing it against a 39 year old way past his prime Roy was pretty over the top. Just kind of made him look like an *******.

How are you going to go out of your way to not fight Roy in his prime, then fight and mock him when he is finished?
