kessler is not in bhops league. if he wanted this fight, he should have beaten joe, but whoops, he didn't. bhop would thrash kessler like pavlik, easy. he doesn't want it, and wouldn't give up enough of the purse. bhop doesnt need this **** at this stage in his career. he's got like 1 or 2 fights left max. he has bigger fish to fry!

Hes too one dimensional IMO, and it would take someone with a complete diverse arsenal and movement( like Calzaghe, Dawson ect) to beat Hopkins. He just doesn't have what it takes. Start feeling confident if Hopkins takes the fight, because hes not ****** and would never take a fight unless he knows he has a good chance of winning and have completely figured out his opponents style.

And who do you think those bigger fish might be? I'm curiuos since a Jones fight is uninteresting and Calzaghe wont fight him. Or that's the way I see it.

B-Hop still has alot in him and has NEVER taken a beatin...ain't it GREAT to be at a win win sitaution where you got NOTHING to lose but alot to gain. Its up to B-Hop...He can retire, I wouldn't mind...but I'd sure love to see B-Hop fight Chad, Kessler or Calzaghe rematch.

Honestly, I like Kessler. I think he fought Calzaghe well, better than most I've seen. If he could have put togetehr some better combinations when he stunned Joe a few times, he may have beat him. With that said, I don't want to see Kessler move up to 175. He is a big guys but I think that may be a bit to much weight for him.
Business wise - Hopkins, Pavlik - make sense.
Boxing wise - Froch, Bute. After that, he should just keep picking off the top contenders at 168. Maybe in a year or to move up to 175.

Exactly,No matter what Bernard said before RJJ Vs JC it's obvious now that at this point he doesn't have ''Bigger Fish To Fry''.

As for the people that think B-Hop would ''School Kessler just like Pavlik'' you are wrong.
Kessler is a very underestimated fighter stateside and would be no walk in the park for B-Hop.

cosign. hop fights jones (i dont know why jones does it at this point, but......), calzaghe (i still think that's likely), or outside chance at dawson (though i wouldn't recommend. can never count hops out tho).

Hopkins wouldint take the risk with Kessler as he knows Kessler comes to fight everytime and will have no excuses like Pavlik did.
Kessler is a very Very big hitter and it wouldint take much for him to put hopkins away should Hopkins fight the fight he fought against Pavlik...however should he fight like he fought against JC then this could be a boring night with Kessler breaking his hand on Hopkins' forearms or elbows!!
