This would be an awesome fight, i'd lean towards Hopkins for the win but who knows?!

I got Hopkins by UD, but it would not be nearly as easy as the Pavlik fight. Kessler would come ready to fight Hopkins. Kelly didnt train for Hopkins style at all , as they assumed he would just walk Hopkins down and stop him. Kessler would have better training and more then just Plan A like Pavlik had. But like I said, Hopkins by UD in an interesting fight. But Kessler has a real chance if he fights the right way.

He does have an advantage in handspeed over Pavlik but that's going to be enough.
If any stamina problems happend against Pavlik, its just cause Hopkins got tired from beating the dog **** out of him for 12 rounds. That can wear a guy out you know.

Hopkins can beat Kessler, I'm not saying he CAN'T. But it would NOT look as easy as the Pavlik fight did.
Exactly............Kessler is not a "one trick pony" like Kelly. Kessler has more offensive weapons than Kelly.........Hopkins beats Kessler, but not by the margin he beat Kelly.

Kessler should stay at 168 and clear up the division. If Dawson can make 170 then there might be mileage in a catchweight fight there but he doesn't want to make the same mistake as Pavlik. Not that I don't think Kessler is superior to Pavlik - he clearly is.

can't blame Kessler for wanting a big payday,.. the seniors tour seems to be where the big money is at in boxing,.. and Bhops could get old overnight,.. if he doesn't muster the same motivation he had against Pavlik he could be in trouble..

I think Pavlik is much better than he showed against Hopkins,.. plus Bhops fought a very calculated fight,.. and refrained from using bully tactics on Pavs,.. I think Pavlik could put Kessler to sleep. don't count him out yet,.. especially after the tutorial Hopkins gave him.

So, Kessler doesn't apply pressure?? Do you even know who he is?

The way Kessler apply pressure and speed will make B-hop fight dirty and ugly like he did in the JC fight. It could go either way, but its not the fight i want to see.
Dawson should make Kessler an offer.
