Yeah, that was a bad job from the cutman. Emanuel Steward was pretty funny saying they should just find another trainer or cutman in the audience who knew what they were doing.

It was a horrible job, one of the worst I've seen recently. It looked like all he was doing was putting a swab there to stop the bleeding, didn't put anything to coagulate the blood or anything.

Shot or not shot, I was never impressed with Merkerson anyway. Yeah, yeah, he trained thousands of fighters blah, blah. But its easy to look good when you had the world's most talented fighter .
