    I thought mentally Jones was gonna give up but he kept on
    trying to take joe out to the very end..
    Both of them warriors theres no loser in a fight like this.I was happy
    for both parties..

    I do hope jones has a farewell fight though and dosent leave us yet

      thats the one that got me the saddest.

      did you ever think you'd see the day when roy jones would say he can't get at an opponent? I didn't realize Roy was that far gone either.

          That was like when Tyson in the lewis fight said something like
          I havent got it anymore or something to that effect..
          I must of ran out of the room in fear of crying in front of the lads
          eyewater brewing ready to roll down my face

          Thats when you know its over init 4sure

            I was like, whoa did I just hear that?

            I'm still at a loss for words..
            I hope he retires tho.. Hes my second all time fav and I grew up watching the guy since i was a kid. Hes been around for so long, and well I will definately miss him fighting.. What a showman..

            Best fighter I've ever seen..

              What was also very difficult to watch was seeing Jones trying to be elusive and slip punches like he used to. I remember a particular sequence where Joe landed every single punch he threw and I also recall Calzaghe doing the slipping and avoiding every punch Jones threw.

                hes the best I ever saw during my time as well.(not all time, during my time, up until now)

                I liked how he could do whatever he wanted in the ring, but it didn't matter because he so fast and athletic, his opponents couldn't get him.
