If ref lets Hopkins clinch all night long, then he'll beat kessler. If the ref doesn't then I see Kessler winning by decision. Kessler is more constant then pavlik, so the only way to slow him down is by clinching.

It didn't shock me that Hopkins didn't look like he clinch much or at all against pavlik, because pavlik just came forward. Easy target to hit.

Why not put Kessler in an exciting matchup? BHOP puts people to sleep.

Hopkins himself has already stated on the most recent boxingscene video interview with him that if he can't land the winner of Calzaghe/Jones, he's retiring. Because that's the only fight that would motivate him enough to continue to put in the hard work.

I guess he's ducking Kessler now.

But Calzaghe who has said he's retiring after Jones is now ducking Dawson? Thats fine to say, right?

only if he then proceeds to fight someone else, besides bernard may genuinely only want someone else like dawson who fights at an easier weight for hopkins and is imo the easier fight.

it would be wrong of me to say that bernard has ducked kess, mind you i wouldn't rule it out he has ducked another euro champ before hasn't he.

B-Hop easily beats Kessler/ Chad LIGHT WORK. It'd be a good time for B-Hop to retire but adding Kess and Chad to his resume would be GREAT.

NO, it's not! Did you not see the entire thread I made debunking that whole Dawson/Calzaghe fiasco earlier?

Check a few pages back before jumping to conclusions.

Dawson has done piss to deserve Joe as has Kessler done piss to deserve Bernard.

This place is goddamn abysmal when people actually believe this garbage.
