I was hoping he would fight Kessler instead Pavlik just because of the size difference.

So hell yes I want to see Hopkins-Kessler. Ive heard Kessler say himself he would take the fight at any chance he got. Sounds good to me.

i think SG is right - hopkins wont risk it against a dangerous fighter like kess.

kess imo has a very good chance, personally i think he should stick to SMW and the winner of jean-pascal and carl froch.

I like hopkins chances in this fight, kessler doesn't fight too well on the inside and is open to counters. Hopkins will definitely not have an easy time though like he did with pavlik

That's the fight I'd like to see. Heck even Calzaghe said so. After the fight he said that Hopkins should fight Kessler and that it would be a great fight. He even said he would promote it.

Hopkins would most likely play the "who's Kessler?" act, but I would be willing to bet Hopkins would actually be afraid to fight him. I'm not saying that Hopkins would lose for sure, he definitely has a good chance of winning, I would never doubt him but Kessler is a dangerous opponent for anyone.

I personally would like to see this fight as well but I don't think its going to happen. Hopkins won't recognize Kessler as a worthy opponent, even though he is.

If Hopkins is not allowed to hold i think Kessler might set a pace Bernard will struggle with. If Cortez or nady ref the fight id pick Hopkins all day.

Wow great thread, I would definitely love to see it...Kessler needs to showcase his talent and fighting B-hop in the states would bring him the respect he deserves.
