What yall think of Chad Dawson???

I think hes a solid fighter...but overrated. I wasnt that impressed with him against tarver. He won the fight, no question about it but a younger tarver would have owned his ass. Chad didnt even really hurt him.

I didnt see the fight against glen johnson but it sounds like that was a lot closer then it should have been, considering the age differences.

Johnson fucked Chad up. There were times in that fight, most noteablely in the corner between rounds, and as Chad was getting off his stool at the beginning of rounds, where he looked straight up scared. I'm not even stretching it, he looked like a little boy who just got caught masturbating in there.

I remember thinking Johnson got robbed, but I can't recall my scoring. Still, even if Chad won enough rounds, Johnson deserves the rematch on his valiant performance alone. He had Chad hurt, mentally, and physically.

I've not seen enough of him to give an opinion, but I hope he's as good as some people say he is. We can never have too many good fighters to watch/follow.

I don't understand how you can't be very impressed with Dawson's efforts against Tarver. His movement was fantastic and he threw fast and accurate combinations on a regular basis. His stamina held up very well and he looked to carry his power late also. I think Chad is definately the future at 175 no doubt. I would love to see him fight Joe, it would be a very competitive fight.

I know what thats like...happened to me a couple times. Its just embarrassing when everyone in your family has caught you jerkin it at one time or another.

I've only seen him fight twice, Adamek and Tarver. He's a very good at throwing combos, but has no power. I don't know about his chin though, he looks like if he got hit flush he'd go down. You can tell he hates getting hit, doesn't look comfortable at all.

I dont know, im not in anyway trying to say that he didnt beat tarver. I just think with tarver being almost 40, dawson should have put a beatin on that old man. Tarver appeared to be more skilled, just slower. And i think dawsons a very skilled fighter too, and hes much faster but for some reason im not impressed with him. Or at least as impressed as others are.

he is overrated, but it would be an even better way to finish off calzaghes career by beating everyone. It could be the last person on joe's resume that makes him top 10 of all time.
