Being droped by Adamek is nothing to be ashamed of, hes a great fighter, underrated. IMO I think that is Dawsons best win.

Dawson really is a impressive fighter. Though Taver and Johnsons legacy is questionable they were both decisive victories for Dawson which is huge since the kid is young. Its too soon to put him in P4P standings, but he will be there soon.

Again, I'm a Dawson fan. But he is not close to being a complete package.

Joes expertise and experience would be too much.

So what's up with Chad Dawson? Did I fall asleep for 3 years and miss something with this kid? Why all the hype all of a sudden, I know he's undefeated and black, and that goes a long way around here but this **** is ludacris.

Are we not talking about a guy who just a few months ago looked and acted like a scared little ***** in the ring against Johnson? Narrowly escaping with a **** decision and vowing ot never face Glen again?

The same Glen Johnson that Bernard Hopkins TKO'd 10 fucking years ago?

Dawson is dog**** and he's an accident waiting to happen, Joe Calzaghe would feast on his corpse, as would the 43 year old Hopkins. I'd favor both Joe and Bernard to outclass this kid en route to lopsided UD victories.

I think it's even worse than those comparisons really. I mean no disrespect to Dawson, he seems like an ace kid, but at least Cotto wrecked Quintana, who went on to wreck Williams for his title.

Dawson barely skated on by with a thin disputed decision over a guy 'Nard TKO'd 10 years ago, and he dominated an ex-crackhead that 'Nard dominated over 2 years ago.

Once upon a time Tarver was a serious threat. That all ended when Hopkins wrecked him.

Johnson is still a damn game opponet though, but Chad is a disgrace for not giving him his rematch.

Obviously you don't watch boxing if you havent heard of Chad Dawson. Let me school you on Chad Dawson. He beat Tomasz Adamek who at the time was regarded by most as one of the best Light Heavys and who is now one of the best Cruiserweights. Dawson was only about 24 at that time. Adamek would DESTROY Kessler. And Glenn Johnson is a guy that Calzaghe never fought and actually pulled out of a fight with Johnson. It was a tough fight but Dawson won. Dawson also beat Antonio Tarver. And you say Calzaghe would feast on Dawson? Yeah just like he feasted on Roy jones someone who is shot to all hell and he couldnt even KO him.. By the way that Glenn Johnson KOed Roy Jones Jr who just fought Calzaghe LMAO

Dawson is very talented and i think he would be able to beat Calzaghe due to his youth and hand speed, not to mention he has excellent boxing ability and is a strong body puncher
